Last weekend we went for our first top-down ride in the Jeep. Now, before anyone has a fit that he's in the front seat, it's all well and good as the Wrangler is equipped with an air bag cut off switch... so it's all perfectly safe (and legal!).
Heidi found him a great pair of sunglasses that he seems to like wearing, as he hasn't tried to take them off yet. The car seat net keeps the bugs off, and a certain amount of wind. Is he stylin' or what?!? He was definately checking out the trees and other cars as they went by, but eventually fell asleep.
Speaking of Jeeps, we were given a Power Wheels electric Wrangler by H4's Uncle Dwight and Deanna as their son, Conner, has out grown it. In a few years Harry will be having a blast with it, but for now, Nesmhe thinks that she'll take it out every once in awhile to explore the woods. Now if she could just coordinate those paws to work the gas pedal AND the steering wheel at the same time. :)
This last picture is of myself, H4, and our faithful lawn tractor named "Grandpa". Heidi wanted a picture of the three of us, with Harry wearing his John Deere onsie, as he'll more then likely be outgrowing it very shortly. All was going well with the "posing" until he asked if he could drive, and I had to explain to him that sinces he's still an infant, he couldn't be on the riding mower if it's running... you know, as a safety thing. Well, he didn't like that explanation AT all. I ended up having to let him play with the weed trimmer instead, since it's got a smaller engine. (I'm just kidding!!)
