Go-Karts were the main attraction today. Heidi and H4 hit the track for 6 laps and did the family name proud. No throwing up or neck injuries! H4 had a great time but I gotta tell ya, Daddy (me) was a bit nervous.Heidi did great and didn't even come in last! I'd race with her any day. :)
Another neat thing we did was Ha Ha Tonka State Park where we explored a castle that was built in 1905. The owner was a wealthy oil baron or something of the sort... and actually owned one of the very first automobiles ever made. Ironically, he was killed in one of the very first automobile accidents ever made the following year and never saw his castle completed.
His sons finished it by the 1920's, only to burn to the ground years later, and is now part of the state park system. I sure would have loved to see it in it's heyday...
