Happy 3rd Birthday H4!

Starting the day off with a chocolate milk and his "birthday hat" on; H4 opened all of his gifts at once this morning, even after mom and dad said he could only open one...

We went off to daycare where they had a "Happy Birthday Harry!" sign displayed in the window, which was very cool, and Heidi had baked cookies the night before to take as a treat for the rest of the daycare kiddos, and were enjoyed by the staff as well. H4 wouldn't eat any, but he really doesn't eat anything anyways.

After a full day of playing and learning stuff, Heidi picked him up to have his (and her) hair cut. We then met up with Grandma and Grandpa Ehmsen at Flannigan's restaurant in Coralville, where he had nothing but chocolate milk for dinner... not counting the animal crackers he consumed on the way there. Grandma and Grandpa spoiled him with coloring books, a hand built coloring book holder and a Hulk toy. (H4 has been on a Hulk kick ever since he  caught his daddy watching "The Avengers" movie trailer featuring the green Goliath, and has been stomping around saying "Hulk smash!" ever since.)

After the grown-ups finished eating, H4 and Papa went out to look at the Iowa River Power dam, and I caught a neat picture of the two of them walking off to explore...

Happy birthday my son, I love you.
