Dad's surgery went well and the doctor is very confident that he got the whole tumor. It did have some "fingers" on it that went a little deep into the bladder, but he got it.
The tumor was sent to pathology and we should have the results in the next couple of days, but he indicated that there wouldn't be any need for chemotherapy, but again, that is pathologies call.
They have him back on a blood thinner, and should be able to go home by Friday as long as all goes well. Unfortunately he'll also be taking home a catheter which will have to stay in place for about a week. This makes for a very uncomfortable situation, as you could imagine, and it makes you feel like you have to pee all the time.
