We had a deceased tree in our front yard since late spring... Early spring it still has some green needles, but quickly changed to brown. Kind of sad as we like our trees, but to be honest, I wouldn't mind clearing out a dozen or 2 of them. Most our those pines that like to drop sap on my vehicles (which really sucks to try and get off!).
So my good friend Art and his trusty 1971 McCullough chain saw came over and made short work of our dead tree. He chopped the trunk into 12" (approx) lengths so we could use them as seats around the fire pit... as soon as the fire pit is drained of water and filled back in, but more on that later.
In the meantime, enjoy the 30sec video of Lumberjack Art felling the 18 years old pine.
