Heidi and I listed our first item for sale on the "craigslist" website. Being the smart a$$ I am, my rough draft read as follows:"Microfiber couch, inlaid with 100% canine hair from a registered Shetland Sheepdog. Dog has papers, couch does not. Couch is a cream color other then where the stains are. Cushions have been broke-in; support board available at extra charge. Please call with any inquiries."
At the time, I thought it read pretty darn funny... But without missing a beat, Heidi wrote up her version:
"This comfy couch and I spent many a night together as I am sure we will again be together tonight after my wife reads this post. We have been through a lot together so it will be hard to part ways with my beloved friend. She knows me well and we have truly enjoyed each others company especially on Sunday mornings while reading the paper. May someone else enjoy her as much as I have. Please note, I may need to know your address to come sleep on the couch every once and awhile."
Ahem... well. Needless to say the actual ad was written mutually and has since posted. And for the record, there are no stains on the couch. If interested, let me know! :)
