Dad will be home and enjoying home cooked meals, and his Lazy Boy recliner. He'll be sleeping in it for quite a while until the doc says he can go back to bed. They want him in the chair so he'll lay flat and not put pressure on his sides, which would be bad for the healing of his sternum.
He's going to have cardiac rehabilitation three times a week for at least a month which he is very excited about. Not. :)
