To recap:
Friday afternoon my Mom called me home because Dad was short of breath. When I came up the street there were 3 police cars, and JC Ambulance already there. Dad was having extreme trouble breathing and was loaded into the ambulance and transported to Mercy Hospital. At the hospital, initial reports were that of "smokers lung" however once labs started coming in, it became apparent he had a heart attack along with fluid on his lungs. Due to his extreme difficulty to breathe, he was admitted to ICU.
Saturday he had a CT and follow-up chest x-ray, his breathing had improved, and his color was better so he was moved to a cardiac floor.
Sunday was a low key day with anticipation of various tests being conducted today. He will be having ultrasounds of his kidneys and heart in the morning and then heart catherization (and maybe stints) in the afternoon.
Once all the test results are in, we will have a better feel for how things will shake out for the week.
